Our Food Access and Farmer Training programs are possible thanks to our network of support
Together, We are BUILDING a new paradigm for the food system that values all people and our planet, and the farmers who care for both.
Funding our PROGRAMS
Rock Steady uses a hybrid organizational model, which blends a worker co-op with fiscally-sponsored non-profit activities.
This structure allows for the democratized leadership and independence of a co-op and the ability to raise tax-deductible donations. Though we operate from raised funds, we don’t just sit at a desk - we also grow a lot of food!
Our model is visualized here:
We send ABUNDANT GRATITUDE to our supporters:
We could not do this work without the generous support of individual donors, sponsors, and grant funds.
Special thanks to Elizabeth & Elspeth Gilmore, Margot Siegle, Rob Horwitz & Cathy Redlich, Irene & Jack Banning, Nancy & Matthew Armbrust, John & Wendy Curtis, Cynthia Young, Ben & Joanne Niedermeyer, and valued anonymous contributors.
